Ecology Calendar

Work is underway using a wide variety of mechanisms to improve and enhance the Mease in the catchment, on the tributaries and the main river.

The Mease Ecology and activity Calendar lists the important species that are present in the Mease catchment. It shows the various times of year and when it is appropriate  to carryout works.

What We Are Doing

Nutrient neutrality is a means of ensuring that a development plan or project does not add to existing nutrient burdens within catchments, so there is no net increase in nutrients as a result of the plan or project.
